Brian Lichtenberg : Feline Meow

It seems the black is playing with high end designer logos and social symbols. LA-based designer Brian Lichtenberg is no stranger to these designer spoofs. He has launched his range of "Homiés South Central" tops, which is a playful nod to Hermés. (Rihanna being a fan!) But now he has released a series of tops that replace the classic "Céline Paris" logo with "Féline Meow. I love this as I love my cat (Tora)!

Of course I have purchased a white feline meow tee!

Some of Brian Lichtenberg's other designs are his 'Bucci' vest tops (a play on Gucci) and also his 'Canine Ruff' range for all you dog lovers out there!

Beach Body Bikini's.

Sam and I booked our summer holiday last week - two weeks in Egypt at the Royal Grand Sharm Resort. Although the holiday already robbed me of all my money I took it as an opportunity to invest in some new bikini's!

Our Hotel

So far I have bought these two fringe bikini's from eBay for a total of £15, bargain!

After getting my H&M Spring magazine through the door I now have my eye on these beauties (After my next pay day).

Now I just need to get working on the beach body, only 23 weeks to go! Can't wait to be sunning it up in 38'C :)

January

My christmas was a pretty quiet one as Sam (my boyfriend) was offshore for 4 weeks in norway and I had a tone of coursework to do, exams to prepare for and two presentations (it's a hard life being a student). However I had a great new year with the girls at Scone Racecourse, literally stuffed my face with haggis, neeps and tatties!

Left to Right: Emma's dress: Topshop, Ashley's Dress: Topshop, My Dress: Primark(now £7!)
Sam finally came back home on the 9th although I didn't get to see him until the 16th due to stupid exams. But since we missed christmas and new year together for the first time since 2008 we treated ourselves to a spa break! We went to the Golf View Hotel and Spa in Nairn and had three treatments each. Along with a five course meal each night and a massive breakfast each morning we had the luxuries of an outdoor hot tub on the beach and a four poster bed! Would definitely recommend people to go!

My beautiful flowers from Sam
During our spa break Sam and I exchanged christmas presents and I was pleasantly surprised with mine. Sam had picked a lovely slouch grey and black lace jersey jumper for me from a shop in Norway called Vila. I love it and have now picked out my wishlist for him to purchase next time he is away!
Here are some of my favourites atm:

ALOT PANTS £29.39

PASANO DRESS £42

A New Year

Nearly the end of the first month in 2013 and I keep telling myself I will blog soon so while watching the Great British Comic Relief Bake Off I've finally logged on to have a look and OH DEAR! I havent blogged since 2011, bad bad me! So with a well needed revamp (and a new name) my blog is back on track. To be fair 2012 was a pretty boring and rubbish year for me anyway but 2013 is going to be amazing! I have my placement at Beattie Communications, my 21st (and hopefully my new car), my holiday to Egypt and finally my last year at uni to look forward to YAAAY!.

Hope you enjoy :)

Dream Come True

Last month one of my university lecturers gave me the opportunity to help out styling a photo shoot for the Aberdeen Press & Journal newspaper. I was so excited and thankful for this opportunity as it is something I am interested in doing in the future!
The shoot took place in the Bon Accord Shopping centre and we were given the privilege to pick outfits from any of the stores within the centre and style our model. I was given the occasion ‘Christmas day’ to choose outfits for. The photo shoot was published in the newspaper last weekend however I forgot to buy a copy! Silly me! However, not to worry I have the original copies and would like to share a few with you guys. Hope you like them :)

Tis The Season To Wear Tartan!

After seeing Rihanna the other week on the xFactor wearing Alexander McQueen’s puffball dress I thought to myself, ‘Is tartan making a comeback in fashion?!’  I love tartan, it’s such a bold and unique design that us Scots can be proud of. Now that the Christmas season is upon us I assumed that we would all be wearing the usual metallic and sequin pieces however I’m more than pleased to take a step out of the box and get to grips with a few good old tartan pieces for my Christmas nights out!

Emma Watson, Rihanna and Chloe Moretz all wearing McQ's Tartan dress

If you’d like to get into the tartan spirit here are some affordable pieces!
